47RH problems in reverse
This a very specific problem with the 47RH in my 93.
First alittle history, I had a shop rebuilt last July, trans didn't make the 1000 mile mark, lost reverse. Rebuilt and put a different valve body on, worked OK since then.
Ok, now for the new problem, when I'm in reverse and I start applying throttle it feels like the torque converter is trying to lockup while I'm going backwards. I have a rebuilt manual and from what I understand there has to be a leak somewhere letting pressure out or in that is applying the converter clutch as I apply throttle.
What I'm looking for is some information or insight so when I talk to these guys about it I can stop the bull right in its tracks.
I did call Dave G. about another trans project (torque converter and valve body) I'm going to start soon for a different truck, he hasn't gotten back to me yet though.
