Just received this from Chrysler in the mail today:
Customer satisfaction notification F19-Roll-over valve vent hoses
"The problem is,
The roll-over valves on your truck (VIN:..........) may alow water to enter into the fuel tank. Excessive water in the fuel can damage the injection pump and/or injectors if the engine is off for an extended period of time"
The notification goes on to tell me to make an appointment and have the problem corrected.
Has anyone received this notice?

had mine in for a oilchange the other day, and they did it while it was there....didn't even know about it at the time.

 

This "mod" has been done by quite a few here long before the "recall" came to be.

 

I got on in the mail the on Wednesday, same thing,...I also got a recall notice for the ABS on Friday,...guess I'll have to make an appointment on Monday.

 

I assume its the valve thats visible on the top of the tank when you stick your head in on the driver side? What do I do run a hose from it up in the frame somewhere?
