Do a seach but I saw something here last week that talks about some computer controlled item that will pop at about 12/15amps. Then a trip to the dealer to get it reset/fixed. Nice aye. . . .

I have an 06 and have the same problem, the part is called TIPM (totally integrated power module). it basically is a $600 fuse. You need to go the Dodge dealer and either have it reset or flashed to up the amps to 17.5 and just hope it does not have to be replaced. I had to do mine a few weeks ago and it cost $923 including labor.
The best fix for this is to change you trailer lights to led. I am currently changing my horse trailer lights all out to led($500) so I don't have this problem anymore. It is such a bad design. Oh and it can only be reset 4 or 5 times before it has to be replaced anyway.
