Odd noise

Odd noise

I have an '03 2500 4x4. When I turn slightly right ( compensating for the road crown ) it makes a funny growling sound, with a slight vibration. I have asked a couple of folks about the noise, and they have suggested the wheel bearing are getting wore. Another fellow figured it was the ball joints. The truck is all original except the u-joints & steering knuckles. It has 142,000km. Any other opinions would be appreciated.

sounds like the wheel bearings to me, a buddy of mine has an '01 and had close to the sam ething, turned out to be one of the wheel bearings going out.
