i have version 1.1 and i could easily hit 40 psi like there was no tomorrow stacked the juice with and ez and it spools fast, hot juice and ez i put down 507 hp with stock turbo. at stock the waste gate is set to open at 28 psi.

Well I can't exactly take it off and monitor my boost numbers......all I have are the digital gauges on the Edge. But I did take the chip off about 20 minutes ago and took it for a drive and listened to the pitch of the whistle to see if I could tell a difference........and I couldn't tell a difference in the sound. With my intake, 30 psi ( or I'm assuming it's 30psi ) makes a very distinct sound and it sounded identical to before when the chip was installed. I know it's not a very accurate way to test it, but right now that's about all I can do.

I pressurized the whole system.....I made up a cap for my '01 about a year ago when I was having problems with it.....so I used that one! It held the pressure no problem.

And yeah I realize the altitude affects it some compared to other trucks.....but still I should be seeing higher than factory boost numbers. My '01 with just a Edge COMP and clamped wastegate would hit 35-36 psi no problem.

GOOD TO KNOW!! I might just have to take my gauges out of my '01 and try it out! But that's good to know that yours reads funky!

Sounds like thats your answer, the dig. you have prob. reads fooled boost. I would like that get you 0-60 mech. and be done with it

gotlift 01 i just thought about something i don't remember what my juice read out before i sent it in for the hot upgrade. the hot upgrade they reflash the whole thing.

I have a 0-60psi Autometer Ultra Lite in my '01 that will be going in there......I'm selling that truck so the gauges are coming out. I just haven't had the time to rip it all out of that truck and install it in the '05.

I might end up sending mine in for the Hot eventually, so we'll see if that makes a difference once it's flashed.
