From what I have read it stems from an injector issue.

Sounds like it's one of the new codes that Dodge released. Dealer needs to refund your money for their incompetency.

Edit- reading the right signature is fundamental. Do you have a Smarty OP?

Mine was just doing the same thing. I replaced the lift with a Fass thinking it might be bad. That did nothing. Still would toss the light and ding a bunch of times. I updated the Smarty (Oct, 5 release date) and it quit. Hasn't done it since. I'd start there. It's free.

I wonder if MADS disabled monitoring of the new codes? It was originally stated it was a Chrysler glitch, but the people that were getting the new codes were actually having injector issues (on low-mild hp motors, not BIG motors).

I think i'd like to know if my injectors were about to do TU.

My trucks been doung this for a few months. Id get a loss of power at the same time. Like the truck was in limp. Mine towards tge end was tossing the light and dinging every other day to twice a day. Wagner said to pull the ABS fuses and lift relay and fuse for loading the tuner. I updated the smarty, pulled the fuses for the file load and it quit. My truck had 220,000 miles and 2,000 miles after I updated, I got the DDP 50s. The update might have suppressed the codes. Or the Smarty fixed the issue in itself. Either way, I'm on new injectors now.

The May 16 Smarty update included the Feb 4th Chrysler update that I posed above. Your truck was telling you that you have too much return flow.

What codes did you have that said the cluster was the issue?

I would find a new dealership, if you are out of warranty try to find a reputable diesel shop. They generally do better work, with better parts, for less money.

I never had the May file. I had a Feb file, then Mad had another update a month later (May like you said or April iirc). I went from a Feb file, to the Oct, 5. My trucks never been to the dealership for work. As soon as I updated to the Feb file (from a four year old tune), I started having issues with my truck and saw a 45hp 100tq loss on the dyno. After I went to the Oct file, the truck went back to doing good again. Mad told me bad FCA or lift. I repaced both (Fass and factory FCA), and the truck still through the pig tail light and would go into limp. I think Smarty had a bad file. Or the four year old tune, and the new Oct file are covering the codes.

Your truck doesn't have to go to the dealership to get new software, each smarty update has the latest Chrysler software. So any smarty update after Feb 4th has that above TSB incorporated.

The codes are for high return, not a lift pump or FCA issue. Injector or rail pressure relief valve are most likely suspect.

Cool. I didn't know the Smarty came with the Chrysler updates. Good to know. But what I don't get, is the Oct update fixed the coil light and dinger on my truck without me replacing parts. Do you think the Smarty is covering codes these codes now?

They could have disabled it, or adjusted a fault in the tune that was giving a false positive.

As for the OP, it sounds like his software is stock and needs to find a new repair center.
