Milwaukee Fuel 1/2 impact gun, while expensive, it is hands down the tool I use most in the shop.

Sorry Oliver ... my gift cards weren't quite that "gifty" !!!!

How do you stop the engine from turning over without the barring tool? Or is it just a easiest way ?

I'm not seeing the use of the "s" type wrenches... VE wrenches ??

The S wrenches are great for getting to the injection pump bolts for pump removal or timing changes.

The baring tool turns the engine using a 1/2"drive ratchet. and you would be surprised at how handy the S shaped wrenches are in a tight spot The nut under the VE is a good example.
I have some U shaped wrenches that I really like also.

I have the u shaped wrenches. Didn't have a pic of them, so I thought the s wrenches would suffice

I have a set of U shaped SAE and S shaped Metric. All I could find for a reasonable price. Got the S Metric at Horror Fright.

A good pry bar (hint: not Harbor Fist) and a soft face dead blow hammer, good set of chisels and brass punches always come in handy too.

Got several pry bars but not a smallish 8" size or so... got assorted hammers but nothing I would consider soft face... got some cold chisels and punches but no brass
