Anyone found a source for LED replacement headlights for our trucks?

I highly doubt there are any LED headlights. Especially sealed beam like ours. There MIGHT be some aftermarket LED headlights somewhere, but a google search just turned up NIL.

I have seen some, but they are round. I'm sure they are out there.

I question if they produce enough light. I've looked at H4 based LEDs and they list ones with different numbers of LEDs on them. Expensive as all get out too.

The LED technology to produce enough lumens for headlight use exists now, though it is quite new. The problem is that the technology is currently too expensive to make in a headlight application and have it be marketable. Just a few years ago, a quality LED flashlight with a lumen output of 100 lumens was over $100. Now a light with nearly double that output can be had for well under $30.

LED's have recently been released that have output's almost on par with HID lamps, but again the cost is a factor. LED's have recently started to appear in tail lamp and turn signal assemblies on comsumer vehciles and I would be comfortable in betting that in 5-7 years we will start to see LED headlamps on a few very high end niche market vehicles.

I'm willing to be a guinea pig if some one will buy me a set. I tried the HID and that turned out to be an expensive joke.

LED headlamps are already in use and are being used on military vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan, they are made by TruckLite however they currently only manufacture them in the 7” round configuration.
I am hoping a 6054 replacement will come soon.

They are actually brighter than a street legal halogen. I saw a set on a project truck on TV (round) and they are bad to the bone. Apparently like Jim says they have supplied 10,000 units to the military at 24v.
I want them bad. These diesels vibrate the crap out of filament incandescent lights and retire them early. I can't keep any light working for long on my cob.
The low current draw of LED's is also a great benefit with ageing, mouse chewed Dodge wiring.

I used Silver Stars before, and am currently doing HID's. Please don't give me another thing to try. Although, LED headlights would be awesome and match the rest of the lights on the dually.

Looks like the Round light that is available will fit in my 1941 Dodge Military's headlight buckets!

I know what you mean. I am on my 2nd set of relays (had to bo beefy) and am using 190w rally bulbs.

I noticed 14.5v is a little hard on 12v LED's and they will burn out, but I bought the first LED replacement bulbs before they had it figured out.
