I have been watching the boards for quite sometime for #7 being that I was transferring out here from San Diego and have noticed that there hasn't been a meet and greet, event or anything in like NINE months. Is diesel fuel prices really crunching folks THIS much, or are there just not enough people wanting to do a get together, or is there just nobody that is pulling to get events going, etc? I figured that the east coast would have been booming WAY more than out there in California was as far as diesel events, etc, but that's just not the case, I guess?

 

I know Id enjoy a get together, but Im sure everyone is in the same boat. No time, different schedules, and all that. Maybe sometime soon everything will mesh together for a meet and greet?

 

Well, we usually have our "Claremont Get-together" but there didn't seem to be much interest this year so it was cancelled.
There are several members in NOVA so we could always find a spot and have a little gathering. I know of about four members in Woodbridge alone....
We've also had a couple gatherings in Va Beach and a couple "Shootouts" at Stamey's place. Funny how there are so many truck guys with guns....
