2010?

The fuel prices have fallen below when we stopped getting together, let us hope they stay that way for a lot longer. I really miss the the fellowship and good food. What say we start planning another round of Smok'n in Clairemont with the rollers. I would really like to get my old truck back on the dyno and see what some of the newer engines can do first hand. Besides, I didn't get a ride in John's red missle last time. Sometime in June or July after the kids are out of school and before it gets too hot.

After the first of January I will get up with my buddies here locally and see if this is feasable. I haven't heard from Dennis in a while and Joel is starting another refueling at the power plant next month. It depends on commitment to get the dyno, schedules and the Clairemont Volunteer Fire Department. We may be able to do a little shooting if time and circumstances permits. My place is only a few miles from there.

I'm interested! Most any date when the temperature is above 40 degrees. Will bring guns if shooting is allowed.

I talked to Dave Dunbar today, I have his open dates and will work with Joel to help make this happen this summer. We need to get a date set up and check with the fire dept. If we let this go to long we will miss out having Dunbar there. Some time in July or early August maybe. Tim

Hey Tim, post the available dates and I will go up and talk to the CVFD to make sure they are still good with it.

Joel, as of this week David was only locked into about 5 dates over the summer. Give me a call in the am and we will go over dates. I have a handful of guys wanting to go and help already.
Ps we will have to have a little wager on how your mustang does against my vette. Tim

Nah, I know what the Stang has. This ain't one of those high dollar axes, this one is only rated 315. However, it is more than enough to readily get me in trouble.

CVFD is adding another bay to the back of the fire house so I need the dates David is available to see how far along they are with the addition. Still should be plenty of room to do what we want though.
