TXDTR #8: October Meet
Did I ever tell you that I hate HOT weather....??
Seriously...This weather lately is AWESOME!!!
Not sure if I will make it up this time either. I'll prob try Friday evening...with Jared in tow.
When I get my patio, fire pit, bbq grill project done....I'll offer to host a meet at my place again. Burgers...on me.

Make it if you can.
Hey Charlie, this is why you need a Vice President, to come up with ideas like mine did.

Big Blue is a happy camper tonight!
He dynoed 454 hp on a stingy dyno at Dr. Performance in Weatherford, Tx.
Romario beat the ProjectX 03 CTD of Greg Hogue. He (Romario) dynoed 925 hp on #2 diesel only.

Hmm, what are the chances of shooting a 2nd Gen with Charcoal StarLight Metallic in the shop?

Got a SB DD and drag tires on the way...

X made 89X HP with NO2 during it's initial 3 runs, but came back with more spray & underhood wrenching to squeeze 917 out during the last 3 attempts.
Due to lack of interest and other commitments , will probably will not schedule anything else until spring.
Don't forget me and a valve adjustment...
And I finally got around to replacing my starter contacts this evening. Pretty good reason why it wouldn't start too reliably, one of the contacts was almost burned all the way through. Just barely enough material left on the contact surface to still fire.
Next project...drop the tank and fix the fuel level sender. Just wish I knew when it was close to empty.

Duh!
Sorry 'bout that. Guess that's how out of it I was.............
When you get ready to drop the tank, let me know. If it's not too cold, we can do it at The Ranch. Nothing like a little spilled diesel to kill the weeds.
