Yeah, since I'm not up-town enough to have a remote start, I have to do it the old way . Plus, mine is always set to Vent when I shut down and I don't switch over to A/C until it's been running a few seconds. Just a holdover from when I had compressor trouble before I guess...

It's one of those things that I don't really notice anymore, but if I pulled the wiring back out, I'd probably start to really realize how much I use it.

Yeah, us po boys have to do it old-school!

Seriously, though - I jumped that circuit during the truck's 2nd summer - kept me from accidentally locking the keys in the ignition during service calls.

Hey Preston,

Initiation is pretty rough, Hope you like to wake up to see your truck on blocks, wheels hoisted in the air hanging from the nearest flag pole. and things of that nature. .

Just kidding, You have stumbled across a pretty dang good group of fellas.

Just follow the threads and go to the meets, there pretty fun. Being out of the area currently I am not sure of the meet details. someone else will chime in shortly .

Max

Preston just jump in. You have already found our latest thread. Sometimes we might be a little quiet then at other times, we will go through pages talking about nothing in a single day.

I think later this month is a chance to run your truck around the track for charity at Texas Motor speedway. And next month is a big drag race, sled pull event coming up down in Crandall at a new track there. Usually we have a local get together to correlate with some of these events or sometimes, just have the GTG for no particular reason.

see ya soon,

Robert

Dreary weekend up here!
First time I can remember, since moving north of the Red River, that it rained - non stop - for a whole weekend.
Started Friday around 3 pm and did not stop till 10 min ago!
90% chance of more coming; 1-2" before dawn Monday!

Planned to wax truck, polish front bumper and cut grass this weekend.
Accomplished none of the above! But it was a nice steady rain... and no thunderstorms/tornados .... so guess I'll stop complaining!
