Hope ya'll had a good weekend.

NM likes to put up random road blocks for DWI check points. learned that. good thing there was no drinkin and driving going on in our group.

Also, checked out this place in Santa Rosa NM today called " Blue Hole" its a spring fed 81 feet deep hole in the ground filled with crystal clear freezing cold (61 degree) water . its a pretty neat attraction.

And just a wee bit quick... putting down 405 at the wheels with 6 speed manual trans. Only had it a week before driving the Dodge up here to see my brother.

Need to get a steering stablizer ordered and a retrofit kit for the newer trac bar for my 01.

I saw RJ a couple of weeks ago getting onto 75 in McKinney. Looked like a freight train with all the smoke.
I've driven RJ's truck...I'm staying WAY out of his way

I'm assuming he's referring to jumping the power from the power seat breaker over to the power window breaker. This gives you power window function at all time, not just when the key is on.

In mine, I actually crossed the wires over so my power seats only work with key on and the windows work full-time.

X2 for the '98 (minus the power seat, of course).

Yep, that's it. A simple wire jump (I don't have power seats) and no more turning the power on to roll the windows.

Coooool... I guess?
And I thought I had too much time on my hands!
With no more Drive In Movies around, when would you have a need?
With a remote start (with aux. button) you could wire 'windows open' into it in the summer... and switch back to the high idle in the winter!

OPPS! Hate that ..... but with McKinney's short entrance ramps ..... and heavy traffic, got to get up to speed somehow!
Anyway, that's my story officier and I'm sticking to it!!

I use it all the time. During the day, I head outside, unlock the door and put the windows down/up and don't have to reach in to put the key in the ignition and turn it on. I can park with the windows down, then put them up later even if I don't have my keys with me.

Plus, by switching the power between seats and windows, the seat no longer moves if you slide out of the seat and accidentally hit the controls since the seat is only powered while the key is on.

All excellent reasons!
Knew there had to be something, just could not figure it.
My summer solution is - I park and set the A/C to Max.... so when I hit remote start, the A/C kicks on! With rear vent open, it's below OAT by the time I get in.
