I am glad everybody that could come, came on by! It would have been nice for it to be about 10-20 degrees cooler, but that's typical North Texas in August!

Hopefully next time I will have the patio completed and landscaped. But I very much enjoyed hosting the event. Thanks Max for assisting with some of the cooking duties and your potato dish was awesome.

I counted a total of about 19-20 attendees altogether. Some couldn't stay for the whole time and some (Dan and Tyler) wouldn't go away.. <joking>.

Late in the event....I snapped a couple of pics...... By this time a good many had left...but....here ya go.

Too bad I couldn't make it, looks like the gathering of the greatest minds of our time.
Ah well, had a surprise birthday party for a friend and still had plenty of fun.

Ok... well after Robert's drove home and worked all dang day Sunday.. Driving on the way home Amy noticed the floor mat was wet... I pulled the mat and there was a dang lake sloshing back and forth on my carpet!!

Apparantly my condensate drain is/was partially clogged as I was still getting some drippage outside, but a good bit was running back under the dash and under my carpet... Now running a hose from the little nipple that only portrudes out of the cab 3/4" down to the frame.. (Apparantly the water has a bad habit of running back on the tube to the inside of the truck as well.. so fixing that crap)

Started pulling carpet back... cup holders gone, passenger seat gone, rear seat compartment thingy gone, carpet pulled into a tunnel shape and a 12" tornado crazy fan blowing through... Day 2 of this project... much drier, but a long ways to go... Hopefully put back together Thrus or Friday afternoon...
Dang carpet pad is a giant sponge! I'd say at least 1-2gallons of water out so far... started by putting beach towels under carpet and walking on it to squish water out... probably soaked 7 or 8 towels that way...

Hoping to not have to remove the carpet in entirety... Passenger seat and center console, heck even back seat is not an issue, but air compressor, subs, amps, air line, electric are all penetrating the carpet... REALLY dont want to jack with that....

Already told myself if I button it up and get mildew I'm just going to buy new frickin carpet..

Thanx again Robert and happy Bday and such.

Rambunctious Tater works for me haha. I have been called much worse on a regular basis

The short shifter is feeling better, I think the tranny is getting broke in?? maybe? I think I am only up to 400 miles on it.

Hey guys, had a great time. Next time I'll have to come more prepared, bring food, etc. Oh, and clean my nasty truck before I head out. A group of great trucks though, twins sure are cool...

Thanks again everybody for the Bday wishes! I enjoyed hosting the event. We can do it again sometime when we just want a casual GTG. At least I won't have to buy patio furniture again for a little while..

Thanks for the taters......TATER R.
