the inspectors can interpet the law any way they want because its their liscense that is on the line. went to get a gn inspected and the guy wouldnt do it till i had my safety chains hooked up. funny thing is 3 days earlier was sitting with a dot officer who told me i didnt have to have them.

I'll go first, just got a FAIL from the Firestone dealership in Hillsboro,TX. I called up the shop that did the delete in Cleburne and he said, "Bring it over here, those guys are full of S**T, I'll sticker that thing". I'm headed there in the morning.
A little update on this. Once you fail at a station you have to take it back to that one, I took it to another one and it passed, but when they started entering the info into the computer up came the "RED FLAG" on the site.
Needless to say there is a Magnaflow on the truck now and $160 less in my bank account.
