Seems like too dramatic a drop. Not going to agrue but wonder what's up?
Not just Walmart in Durant, either. Love's on Hwy 75, just this side of the border, is $1.79.

So that raises the question, is it legal to haul a 500 gallon fuel tank on a trailer across the state lines after filling up?

Your probably just kidding but.... no law I know of to stop you... if for personal use!
Every yr, when I go to California, I take two 55g Drums of fuel with me. Usually use drums labeled for engine oil to avoid hassle but last time the drums were unmarked.
I was stopped at Ca. border and when they realized I was carrying my own fuel (non ULSD, at that time) they threatened to confiscate it. But being for personal use, in an out of state CTD, that was returning in two days... they tried but could find no law to stop me!

Great news! I just know that at any minute now, all of the shippers, haulers, etc, will lower their prices because diesel in down. I can't wait for the savings to trickle down to me!

NO? Isn't that the reason they said they went up?

Have for years on I-10 and I-40 at least. Signs on I-10 list the stuff you can't bring into the state. Mainly fresh fruit (worried about bugs and fruit flys, I think?). Protecting their hugh agricultural economy.
Just a narrowing of the hwy and a toll booth type shack on both lanes... maybe a slow down to 35 mph.. Manned 24/7.
Usually they wave everyone through. Not an automatic 'stop and disclose' type set up. Only been pulled over that one time.
Sure was a surprise the first time I saw it... kind of police state type stuff.

Charlie lived there and probably knows more than I.

New GRIPE

to much sand blowing out here in NM , my window seals are filling up with sand and just destroying my glass (due to rolling up and down), so it seems that in my career choice i will be replacing windows every couple years. i think i will just cover the windows in scotch tape .

it's aggrEvating

I raced a 95 12V today. "it has 450 HP pump. . . and 150hp sticks(stock turbo)" is what i was told by the owner i am not sure how a pump could be rated in HP? maybe thats what its capable of?

well anyhoo, i have never seen a truck smoke that much going down the road. it was thick, it looked like night time behind us.

(of course we are proffessional drivers on a closed course )

Impressive! On 12v's bigger mechanical injector pump is the ONLY way of adding fuel. Several different sizes.

Saw Chris Millers 06 today.... the one Mike has been totally rebuilding for 1000 hp on #2. Incredibly Impressive! It's all buttoned up and will be at Alvarado on the 14th, for Dyno & Pulling.

Romario will be there also. AndBuck! Should be impressive to watch!
