Anyone here delt with Standard Transmission and Gear in Ft. Worth. Just had my transmission spit parts last night. They built it in March of 08 with a 1 year warranty and even though the warranty expired it would be pushing it to say it has over 10,000 miles on it. Dropped it today and removed the top cover to see that the main shaft gear was completely gone. But the teeth werent laying in the bottom, just a bunch of large shavings like it slowly ate itself although it gave no signs of problems. Just suddenly broke. Took it back to them this afternoon for them to look at it. They didnt seem interested in getting it back until I sent them some pictures of the inside, then they wanted me to bring it in.
