It does look different now. I think the factory additions makes it look good.

I like the turn down.... And yes smaller tires do amazing things for towing.

Kick myself for not getting 4.10s at times, safe bet my truck won't be seeing a 35 any time in the near future.

I haven't heard of anything, but I'd be interested on making a run as well to see where I sit right now with my current setup.

I've considered just going to HPP in Lewisville to use their dyno. If anyone else is interested, we could work out a date and see if they would give us a rate.

Crobtex was talking about trying to get something together here when it warms up in a few months the other day. We went up and ate lunch with RJ the other day....

Oh yeah.....I'm back in the game:

Charlie's version of warm might have us in July/August with the 100+ temps.

Yeah.....well...it came with a catch:

I did pick it up cheap. And looks like I'll be able to get out without putting too much more into it. It's got a Bank$ exhaust, intake and 6 Gun tuner...(will be selling the tuner and looking at some EFI Live) and a billet Suncoast tranny. Issue was the flex plate let go and allowed the torque converter to snap off one of the dogs on the Fnt pump drive. Repair torque converter, freshen up the clutches, o-rings, seals and bearings; put a new pan and billet flex plate....should be golden!

Sounds good. I exploded my injection pump so I'm waiting in that and some new injectors. Let ya know when I'm back together.

I love the sound of the earlier Cummins engines. But having never owned an earlier one, I can't say I have been disappointed with mine. It's been a great truck so far at 181,000 miles and climbing. I've put a little money into it. But I plan on running on for a long time.

Well, I'm finally caught up on the projects that I have had on the work bench for a while.

I got my upgraded wheel cylinders into my back drums. And learned an important lesson about double-checking to make sure your springs are attached at the right points.

I also did the 3rd gen brake upgrade on the front discs. Between the two brake upgrades, it stops like a whole new truck.

And I managed to swap out my front coils for a new set with a heavier weight rating. That put about 1.5" of height back into my front end. Enough to get my axle back to center and removed that feeling of bottoming out when I hit a rough patch in the road. I still have about a 2" difference front to back (same as stock), but the front end feels much better now.

Now it's time to start stocking up on new projects...
