Charlie there is much more wood than I thought. But I'm going to get it all loaded during this week. Should have enough for a year at least.

Not far at all. Via US 80, 635 and 75, it's not much more than an hour and half or so. Come on up!

Good deal! Just don't forget that all of you youngsters will have to do the "split'en and stackin'.

Hope you make it! About 20 mile, or so, from McKinney. When you exit to 121 north off of 75, it's about 15 miles.

Since it looks like we may have a few new guys this go-round, so I thought I'd lay down the ground rules and a little info about The Ranch.

* If you're of age and want to drink, no problem. Don't plan on getting falling down drunk and obnoxious. If you drink every much, don't expect us to let you drive. I won't let some drunk kill someone in my family or theirs or anyone else's!

* The Ranch is pretty primitive......running water and electricity. I do furnish bushes, a shovel and a seat. Otherwise, it's 10 miles to McDonalds. Rowj can tell you how long it takes to get there. You're welcome to bring a tent or small camper if you're self contained.

* I have an air compressor, an electric impact, floor jack, stands and various other tools. If you need some kind of specialty tool, you best bring it and parts. It's about 20 miles to the nearest parts store.

* Sometimes we cook and sometimes we order pizza. The closest place to eat is the McDonalds, a Burger King and a Sonic. To be safe, best bring your drinks, snacks and whatever else you might want to eat. Also, don't forget you lawn chair.

We always have a good time. Usually a little wrenching and the BS always flows like good wine. If you have any questions, PM me.
