If I could make, I could think of a few projects. Ball joints, valve adjustment...an injector swap if I'd ever buy new ones.

But I need to find time for the first two at some point.

And you actually wonder why you only got one response to your headlight question????
Your talking the word of Geno's salesman (trying to sell you something), who you don't know..... over your friends combined one million +/- miles of experience. I have never heard of....seen....or read about diesel eating through the back of a gauge!

Does this sound familiar....
"Geesh you guys are a great big help!! Just one response to my headlight poll!"
"... that's 'cause we don't think you'd listen to us anyway!"

I'll be remounting the '35s' for the first time in a long while!! May have my new special relay in to install for my high idle and exhaust brake by remote control... Uhhh.... maybe get my adrenaline oil temp gauge installed in the bypass filters for fun and install an EGT probe in the twins piping! We will see how much of this gets done!!

He wasn't trying to sell me anything. I already have the gauge and the isolator. I didn't buy anything from him and he had no benefit to answering my question.

I definately don't take his word over any of my friends here. But the part he said about the diesel eating the back of the gauge (over time) concerned me. Plus I already have the concerns about diesel in the cab.

Please don't be offended because I try to ask various people questions about subjects. It is just the way I learn. Nobody has ALL the answers about everything. Depending on the question, you can get 10 different answers from 10 different people.

The fact that the Geno's guy said what he did just added "some" weight to the fact that I was already concerned about running diesel in the cab. It is no slap to you or anybody here about how they run their gauges.

I know, I know.

So is anyone making it to the dyno Buck is putting on Nov. 17th? I might make it out there, just depends on how much progress I make packing up stuff at my apartment. Being gone 4 days a week doesn't really help much with getting things done around the house.

I'll vote for #1...the other two look too ricer-ish.

Been thinking about trying a gallon of the new diesel treatment that won the 'lubricity additive test' Opti-Lube XPD... Going to order a gallon off of their website... Was going to see if there was any other interest before I did. 3 people want a gallon and shipping is free... Let me know otherwise I'll suck it up and pay the $10 for shipping!

Can't hurt right?

Way I read it....Biodiesel won the lubricity contest.... B02 ?
I put 5 gal of the local B20 in each tank (that's 1 gal 100% biodiesel for every 35 gallons in my tank or 2.8%)!
I can deliver you a drum of B20 at no charge
Only around $3.40 a gal)

(Edited: use to do 10 gal till I read the lubricity test)

Ya I saw that as well... My problem is I don't trust a lot of the places selling Bio anymore... My bio-***** place is looking pretty shady and not near the traffic as would like to see... Also with the miles I'm putting on lately It's rare I get to a place that sells bio... I need/want something that I can throw in no matter where I'm filling.... I still like Bio the best and fill with it when I can get somewhere that has good traffic, but that hasn't happened in quite some time!! Not to mention the economy is slightly less .9 or 1.1 worse than regular if I remember correct from my mileage tracking days... With fuel in the 3.39 range that's starting to matter some! Filled up at a Loves in OK cause it was 28cents less than locally!!!
