From Dallas to my place is right at 1hr 15mins... Never any traffic...

Should be able to fit a couple trucks in the shop at a time for working and staying warm!

So we have weekend of 5th and 12th if we want it at my place... That dyno in SA is on the 5th if people are still looking to go down there?? Personally I don't think 3 runs is worth 8hours of driving...

the 12th would probably work better for me but not sure can probably do either one. Heck i would probably get to drive my truck this time no concussion!

What needs doing? You mentioned it somewhere above but can't find it. anything short of body work or a repaint should be doable.

10 Hrs for me! I'm not going w/o a new Adrenaline program and without reassurance that they know diesel dynoing.
I haven't seen either.

I have a can of bondo and a can of Red Krylon spray paint. That oughta look OK on a white truck.

Anyone interested.... I burned out one of my Sylvania Silver Star bulbs. Found the newer Silver Star ULTRA bulbs at O'Reilys.

I have asked on here before if the Ultras were brighter...or just a new marketing name for Silver Star bulbs?
Never got a definative answer. So I took a chance and tried one!

I found them....
-Maybe 10% brighter.... alot brighter than my old stock bulb I had to use for 3 days over x-mass.
-More important.... no more 'black holes' in the light pattern, Much more even lighting.

I liked it enough, I went back and got a second one for the side that did not burn out. They are $4-5.00 more than the Silver Stars.

You guys have a great New Year's! Time for another ATV/Camping trip.

Brian, have you ever heard of "RuralShade" RV Park in Kerens, TX.....near Corsicana? Supposed to be pretty close to Richland Chambers I think. Thought since you were so close, you might have been there.

We were going to go to Alligator Run again near Longview....but this RuralShade place is supposed to be pretty good....and I haven't ever been. Gonna try it out.

I have the same bulbs in mine now after I got the new headlight. Are you using a HD harness with it?

Thanks, Dan ..........but no thanks!
Decided I'm too young to turn 60. I may look it..... my body certainly feels it..... but my brain is stuck around 40 something!

This birthday is cancelled due to lack of interest!

Other option is to just add a relay or two for power direct from battery! I have no over heating switch issues, but the heavier harness is suppose to be brighter! Relay should do same ($5.00-10.00)...I think?
Brian thinks Justin did this mod. Justin??? Where are you??

Good project for the get together.... 12th is good by me!
