No waiting lines and no politics favoring the 'big boys' over the bracket type racers. Just first come...first run. Fun country racing.
The more I travel around the more I appriciate the Ardmore track.

As of now, plan on heading up there on the 22nd to test new Quad Adrenaline Box!

RJ says we may have some more Okies show for the dyno and at The Ranch on Saturday night......good.

I know we still have some time, but I'd like to start some kind of head count. Who knows, I may fix fajits or chili.

Also, if anyone needs directions to The Ranch, shoot me a PM.

I am going to try to make it to the dyno on saturday and possibly to the ranch that night. Where is everyone staying or sleeping? Back of the truck?

Great! Hope you can make it.

The Ranch is definatly not the Holiday Inn. Cold running water and electricity is about it. We've had a buch of meets up here and most have slept in their trucks....front or back. Some bring tents or tarps, or if you have a camper, feel free to bring it. This place is very similiar to a deer camp. Good beer and BS, and sometimes some good food.

Almost forgot.......we have a strict rule about drinking and driving. If you want to drink, no problem, just don't expect us to let you drive if you do.

I'm in, bringing the back of the truck sleeping accommodations. Just hoping the wind isn't blowing as hard as last time...otherwise I will start up the truck in the middle of the night and turn it around.

Justin, Are you still running on the BCS VP? Have you got a new SO pump yet?

I'm a gonna' have to sit this one out too
Parents are in town and they are leaving that weekend. Need to spend the weekend with them before they go back to the cold.
Might could make it up Sunday, depending on how early they leave in the morning.

BTW,
I spent the best $20 ever (OK, almost ever, that one time in the Navy in Italy it was probably better spent ) the other day at Costco. They have an inspection mirror, light, magnetic pickup tool set. There areseveral pieces that can be hooked to the main shaft one at a time or all together: Straight piece, angled piece, flex piece. At the end of whatever piece you have, you can hook up the mirror, the magnet or the light or two of them together. For example, you can hook up the light and mirror on the end at the same time and check the timing on a VP-44 install
Really cool thing is, they include 2 bulbs, a standard one and a UV bulb. You can check for leaks with it. The set is really slick and comes in a little case.
