I already have a "friend" named Eden! Thanks though. She brought me my meds and a few groceries last weekend......but I don't want her to stay around here and get herself sick.

She has really changed my life in many positive ways. I have had many girlfriends over the years ( I know, even as ugly as I am)........but not like her.

This one really scares me.............about the possibility that I would even consider NOT wanting to be single anymore.

Woo Hoo got my custom #Dantheman plate installed today... Went for a drive to let teh old girl warm up a bit already noticing the improved powerband... Got her up to temp and let her have a good stab cruising through the gear on an on ramp... got up to 5th gear pushin 65-70psi of boost (first time the S300 has seen that boost on my truck, last VP couldn't get over 45.. poor thing ) and BLLLLAAAAMMMOOOO WOOOOOOSHHHH... Blew a boot Scares the crud out of me every time! think that is #5 now...

Hard one to get to.. right off of the elbow from the secondary... dismantle of twins on the side of the road, Jason there to lend a hand... got her back together and all the clamps tightened up and let her rip again... I'M BACK BABY!! This truck flat out hauls!! Truck has NEVER pulled this hard in the upper RPMs as it does now! very happy!

Still have a couple minor idle issues to work out, have some stock connector tubes to try, although today it purred like a kitten, never loped at all??? Makes it hard to justify the work to replace the tubes...

Will see how the plate location reacts with a trailer this weekend... its about 75% forward now... Man it can lay down some fuel in a hurry!! Almost scary! I like it!

Sold some more parts... Down to $400-500 for the complete swap... Have a couple people interested in the block and head as well... May end up even on the deal!

Glad all that work was worth it!
Does the mechanical pump put out more fuel than a VP-44 with a box.....
Or just same as a new, healthy PV-44? Or is the difference primarily the S300?

UM......simply put.....YES!

The other advantage is RPM......P-pump can climb faster and higher....hence why all the pullers like it...RPM=HP

a P7100 can and does put out more fuel than a VP44.. and performs much better at higher RPMs.. I never had a VP that would really pull above 2700-2800 RPMs... this pump will pull to about 3500-3600 with the current GSK setting...

Pump shop where I had the pump tested and calibrated told me the pump probably had larger than stock barrels and plungers due to the flow readings.. (asked if I wanted it turned back down ) Was flowing 244-250cc of fuel at 1300RPM and stock spec is 176-178cc...

Yep probably... just tighten the afc up and/or slide the plate back some...

That AFC is going to be a huge tuning tool... Dont understand why anyone would gut it??
