Thanks Eli. Well it definately happened at an inopportune time in many different ways. The time, the loc, the weather all pretty much sucked. Not only the time in regards to the holiday weekend..........but the time considering all the expenses im facing from the wedding, christmas with new family, etc.

Any recommendations on a rental car co? Im prob gonna need to rent for a week or two.......in addition to the truck expense.

It's ok Brian. When I found out you were on the plane I knew you weren't in a position to do anything. I hope your trip went well to Cali!

Kurt is going to help me get the RV back home, come Saturday. And I already have the truck home.

Ironically, I had changed the oil at 125K......and sent that oil sample off to Blackstone. They said it looked great! No fuel in the oil, great wear metals. They said, whatever I was doing to keep on going that my Cummins was wearing very well.

Then at 126,600 or so.......is when all of this mess developed. I did get an oil sample from the original fuel/oil mix........when it dropped 7.5 gallons. (i'll prob get that sampled along with the next few following oil changes) All subsequent oil changes to get me home were about 4.5-5 gallons of mix.

If all goes well, the truck should be up and running again by Tuesday.....with F1 Flux 1.8s and new F1 valve springs. At this point, I only hope that it was a cracked injector and not something else.

Put them on day before this cold spell started.
Maybe 180* T-Stat. Never put 190* back in this winter. I do get some heat but the T-stat never opens. Coolant only at around 165* (which has nothing to do with 180* t-stat, duh!) when I get to work if it's single digits out.
Nothing terrible serious....I'm just wining.

Definately been chilly. Weatherman said it got down to 8 here in McKinney, last night/early this morn. No problems or frozen pipes though. Sorry to hear about that RJ!

I feel very relieved to have my Toyhauler and ATVs back home as of today. Some "donkey hind quarters" stole my gas can that was under the the trailer but thankfully no vandals or thieves broke into it. A HUGE thank you to Kurt (RVpro) for his help!

How bout those Cowboys!!

Glad you got it back home and sorry for all the trouble. I HATE A THIEF!

Kurt, if you do any trailer work on the side, I have a few little projects for The Ranch trailer this spring.
