No big deal - not uncommon for older alloy wheels to interfere with the drum OD... pretty simple to grind the drums a tad while on the truck (idling in 2nd gear or Drive on jackstands with rear wheels removed).

Usually the outboard corner transition between drum OD & wheel flange needs to lose 1/4"... takes ~5 minutes/side (probably longer if it's your 1st rodeo).

Thanks Mike! I'll suggest this to him and see if he wants to go that route.

Although I should have taken the wife's car yesterday when I met him to drop off the rims. Now that he saw the 3rd gen wheels on my truck, he was liking the look and was thinking about doing the same on his truck.

I'll have to get a couple when I get back home.

Apparently it must be a good luck. The guy that tried my 16" rims found a set of 17" rims on CL that night and picked them up because he liked how they looked on mine.

I think it's time for a meet. I've got projects lined up and I never seem to take the time to do them unless we have a GTG.

I'll be back from Indy on Friday. Hopefully no other multiple week trips in my near future. 2nd weekend of July looks open, 3rd is booked, but the rest of July looks OK (and probably hot as Hades).

I walked to the white castle the other night (2.5 miles) just to check it out and eat it at least once. It was an experience for sure, I ended up getting into a part of town that I moved the wallet and took off the watch.

I want to check out many many of the sights here, I booked a ticket at Wrigley Field next week, I should be here until July 20th and then off to Minnesota for more training.

I AM HAVING A BLAST, and getting paid a little to do so

Nothing like traveling on someone else's dime.

I've had White Castle, not sure if it's worth a 2.5 mile stroll No offense to any White Castle fans...
