I think we lost a bunch of people or they don't realize this chapter/thread has been moved up to this section. Hopefully more will chime in.

Corpus Christi

Hello just a newb here......

I'm in Corpus and I hope it's not to far from SA's group.... I guess with all the little posts, there must not be any activity going on up there.....

It seems as though everyone has a diesel down here...

I think the only two around here are "Harley Hauler" and myself. I haven't heard from anyone since last year.

Sorry High Bid, been preoccupied with a son graduating HS and heading off to college, amongst other things. Whats the deal with the chapter? Is anything going on? Is anyone still interested and involved?

Hope to have a bit more flexibility on schedule once the kid is off to college in August!!

Summertime tours....busy also. I'm all in on this chapter but there doesn't seem to be the interest as there was a year ago. I haven't done much to my truck lately other than installed M1.6s....love them. I want the Carli suspension next and the last thing is to stretch it into a megacab 2nd gen but that's down the line unless I find a good deal on a 3rd gen megacab or 4dr. Hope all is good w/you.

M1.6s?? What are they? I have mine in for the last shot at warranty work and then it is open for some upgrades. Wanting to upgrade the TC and VBA to make the tranny tougher, so I can up my Smarty setting. Other than that I am happy with it for the moment. I need to do something with the hubs too -- still no covers and the rusty hubs show....

Keep the fire alive -- maybe we can spark some interest out there!

Impact on fuel consumption? Power?? I would love to increase power some more, but without a trustworthy drivetrain, I get concerned about bumping up the HP.

I gained about 2mpg and power is definately up! My tranny has been upgraded. I've tried to do as much to increase mpg and along with that I've upped my power so I'm pretty happy now....just wish I had a 4dr!!!!! I have the option to buy one but it's like starting all over again to get the truck where you want it w/mods +payments.
