His is lowered too, which is gay compared to the way it used to sit, but i bet its faster because of it. Theres a black 3rd gen with stacks thats pretty quick too. Runs right with charlies blue one, but I have no idea what he has done other than smarty. Gas wise though, that black srt10 hemi is real quick. I've ridden shotgun in about ten races and he hasn't even come close to losing yet. Hes got a cam and all kinda other goodies, and knows what hes doin cause his family runs hotrod drag boats, and cars
WHo has that truck? BTW, srt10 isnt thehemi, its the 8.0 viper engine stuffed in a truck....very fun. I think the guy you are talking about though is the hemi badged as a srt10.

Hey Matt, Im ready for a rerun any day now.....

My tires are getting slick enough that you'll probably beat me while I'm still getting trying to get traction if I run it on any higher a setting.

No it has the factory hemi with a cam. It has no srt10 badges but its an srt10 debadged. I talked to him about everything he has on it, and I've ridden in it. He hung out at our house and went racing with me and dustin alot last semester. His names kyle

Voted on yer truck also,...gotta love them Chebby's!

I'd like to see how you installed yer I/C some time. My Chebby will be getting a 24v/allison 1000 combo and I need some input on the I/C mount

Ps,... glad you liked the Leave it to Beaver joke LOL
Deleon is a pretty good pull. Last year kindof sucked when they tryed that new sled. There is a story behind that.....I think it will be a good sled when they have the bugs worked out. It is an Inertia sled with a pan drop like th iron man, but just not as purdy.

There is a pick in my photo album of the intercooler with the grille out. All I did from there is cap the tanks were I cut the intercooler, and weld two tabs on the side and one on the top to mount. I had to take out the center support that holds up the front center of the hood latch area. The intercooler now does that as part of the mounting system. Kindof hard to explain, but I can take more pictures if you want.

So apparently dodge doesnt make it anymore, but its this car with a truck body that makes the srt10. I know what truck you are talking about. I saw it last year in our dorm parking lot. Its got the body kit, no badges, and last year it had 17" wheels instead of the 22"srt10 wheels. He may say it is, but its a mockup.

Yes the srt-10 has an 8.3 liter viper v-10 in it, it DOES NOT have a hemi in it. If you still don't believe everyone then check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Ram_SRT-10. That just proves to you that some people are full of it, and talk a big game when they don't really know what they are talking about.

I believe yall and I knew the srt10 has the viper engine, just like the chevy ss has the corvette engine, and the lightning has the mustang engine. I wasn't arguing that, i was just telling yall what the kid said. Maybe I heard him wrong, or maybe he didn't mean to say that, but I could have sworn thats what he said. Either way it doesn't matter, srt10 or not(I guess not) its the hemi with a cam, and lots of other goodies and its extremely fast, and sounds awesome. He has 22's now,but ya he had 17s.

Randy, right again, the ss just has a 345hp 6.0l, same engine that used to go in the escalade/denali. Now the Trailblazer ss is a different story, it was sporting the 6.0l LS2 out of the C-6 vette. Also the lightning has a supercharged version of the truck 5.4l engine. just to clarify. Can't wait to see what GM does for the GMT-900 SS truck, can anyone say-620hp ZR1 engine in a half ton single cab... I doubt they'll do it, but one can wish.

Is anyone coming to the meet on Friday? I was about to say we could meet for a game of pool at the Thompson center, but I forgot it closes at like 8pm.
Also, (probably more like how about we post pone this meeting and start up this) is anyone interested in changing the meeting dates to the last Monday of the month instead of the last Friday? We have members that leave on the weekends so at least that way classes are the only normal excuse for not coming.

I'll be at the meet on Friday if we're still having it. I kind of like having them on Fridays, but whatever works for everyone else is fine by me.
