42 For the Summer Thread
Big Spring.....that is a desolate ghost town these days. I spent a month or so there doing an engineering job a few years back. One decent restaurant in town....middle of town there....and that was IT.

It's got a lot more life here lately, they even added a Chicken Express. Between 400 companies working on rebuilding the refinery and the windmill crew there is a lot more money flowing into town. Mainly to the motels and RV lots.

Had an Air Force training base that shut down in 1977. As far as I know Fina still had the refinery operating until they handed it over to Alon in 1999(2000?).
Matt, I'm going to be up in Stephenville this coming weekend in case your around there. Is anyone else up in Stephenville? I'll be there Thursday through Sunday if anybody wants to meet up.
