yeah that would ruin anyones day not only to mess up your truck but also to mess up your boat. their wouldn't be enough cops at the scene to hold me back from the idiot driver that caused that.

Stupid light poles!! Why do the ALWAYS jump out like that?? On the other hand, I wonder if the boat driver was aware he had a Ram barnacle on the hull?

Back in my younger and dumberer days I put a 14' flat bottom boat in the back odf an '87 W150 short box. I didn't even have a trailer for it. Drove it home that way 350 miles. The looks you get when you do something like that are interesting.

what a maroon, in the back of a 1500, bit overloaded............ cummins would have cut that pole right at the ground !

Notice the trailer still hooked to the hitch.
(I don't see any transom straps)
Heavy load (improperly secured) on trailer + Sudden impact + Inexperienced driver = Call to insurance company.

Come on guys, he is just a conservative driver, notice how he used the pole to assist in braking. This way he save s on brake pads.

I don't see any anchor points, or ripped out anchor points.

How did he have the boat secured to the trailer?

I guess he thought the little winch was enough.
