I haven't got mine yet or ordered it yet....

But I was wondering the same thing. I called Putnam at 800-336-4271 and they advised me that Southwest Wheel was a dealer.

Southwest wheel....(214) 631-0200....located in Dallas or Irving, TX.

I have no hitch at all at this point and have been putting it off for a couple weeks! I called putnam and they gave me a bad number to a dealer in Rosenburg.

Wondering if anyone in the Houston area has found a dealer or if i can order it online someplace. I guess I need to call them back.

Ouch, way too much. I had to look at 06 models since it wasn't listed for my 07...

Looking more at like $200-250, not $400.

Thanks anyway

This is the Product # from Putnam's web site for a 2006. They didn't have a listing for your truck. Might have to call for 2007 model year.

Hey! I appreciate that. I don't know why they dont' list for the 07's. They didn't change the frame that I know of.

I'm going to call and double check tomorrow and if it checks out I'll order it.

Thanks again

Ok, the 06 XDR hitch should work on my particular truck. Part number 25211.

I called putnam and they sent me to someone in development and he expressed I might have some trouble if my truck was a mega or big horn.. Don't know why though.

My truck didn't come with a hitch and he said that should make it go smoother.

It should be here mid next week.

Total with shipping was 245 no tax.

If that is coming straight to your door, I may order one myself. It would be easier than having to drive over to Irving to pick it up and spending that much more on fuel, time, etc.

Did u order it from the co. in the link listed?

I'm anbout to order one myself. Did you know that the factory hitch on the 04's is mainly supported by 2 grade 5 bolts Streched both bolts last weekend about 1/2". Replaced them with grade 8's but its all still a little bent.

I think the tow rating for that stock hitch is 5000lbs and 500lbs tongue... But I see people pulling much more than that with them all the time.

I'm glad my truck didn't come with a hitch and only tow mirrors, just $275 more dollars in my pocket and one less step intalling a real hitch.
