WHAT 5ver?

i am looking for a 5ver hitch. the trailers will be ether a 5th or a goose.i don't know how heavy they are. the goose is a 2 axle, the 5ver is a 3 axle. the load is a boom lift that weighs 18,000. can you adapt a 5th to a goose? also, i have the rails for a 5th already installed. i think they are Reese, but don't know as the hitch was stolen. how would i find the capacity of the rails? or, schould i just put on the new rails that come with the new hitch?

www.turnoverball.com -- it's from B&W. Basically it's a gooseneck hitch that accepts a 5th wheel Companion Hitch into it. I have it and it ROCKS. Takes about five minutes to install or remove the hitch. It comes off in two pieces so it's not terribly heavy.

i do like that system. but as for the 5ver companion part i only see one rated for 18,000. if the boom lift is 18,000 and the 5ver is say 5000 (23,000# total) then the hicth is overloaded right? or am i miscalculateing something?

Contact B&W... I saw one on eBay a few months back that they claim was rated at 30k. They might have a bigger one that isn't on their site.

so, just to clarify, the B&W gooseneck is a good, reliable system? I have the same basic question, though, more torwards a travel trailer. I much prefer the utility of the gooseneck, particularly the ball that can be inverted, so I retain the functionality of my bed.
