To use overdrive or not?

When towing a trailer about 7000 lbs, does it hurt to use overdrive on an automatic transmission. 2001 2500 2wd. 3.55 gears. I plan on travelling around 70 mph.

I pull Rv campers for a living,, and always use overdrive, the only time i will lock out overdrive is if it keeps switching back and forth. My trans guy told me its ok to do it,, but just make sure you dont lug the engine is all.
