Trailer brake problem

Trailer brake problem
I have a sixteen foot metal trailer that I haul my 2003 Rubicon Jeep on. The trailer is about a year and a half old. It has 4 wheels and electrical brakes. Last week the left front wheel started locking up when I press the brake pedal. It does not matter if I press the brake pedal gently or hard it stills locks up solidly and the same for the brake controller. ONLY one wheel involved???
The trailer is pulled by a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 HD.
Lots of good advice is seen on the Forum so I thought I would ask you guys what I should look at?
Thanks,
Jim

Your going to have to pull the hub and re-adjust the shoes. It will make a good time for you to repack your wheel bearings.

Check all wire connections to brakes any wheels disconnected will cause all power to go to other wheels and could be cause for lock up if no mechanical problem found. To adjust trailer brakes adjust up tight then back off 10 or so clicks.

Check for a leaking seal. I had 1 do that once, and the seal was leaking by, and when the hot grease got on the brake shoes it made them "grab".
