towing weight 93 1 ton

I've search the web, and found everything but what I'm looking for. What is the max weight I can pull with a goose neck on my truck?

Thanks for the help

Legally or in reality?

I think the site record is somewhere around 43K# towed with a 2500 to Alaska but legally would depend on local laws and axle/tire/trailer ratings. Probably need a bit more information.

Legally,

I'm needing to know what my truck can handle. I'm in the market for a 20 foot gooseneck, and I want to put a 1,000 gallon fuel tank on the back. It's going to be full of biodiesel so I can pull it to a clients sight.

The fuel is going to be at least 8,000 pounds, then you have the goose neck, and 1,000 pound steel tank.

Thanks for the help

the gcvw rating per the dodge manual is 16500 lbs. my truck wieghs 6500 with the wife, me, full fuel tank, etc. leaves me about 10k of capacity. you can go more than that of course but thats what the book says.

So even with a goose neck, I can only pull 10,000 pounds, for some reason I thought it was more. Not a problem.

Thanks for the information.
