swapping 3.73 with 4.10

swapping 3.73 with 4.10

Have any of you guys swaped out your 3.73 gears with 4.10 I have an 03 with an automatic tranny my tire size is 35" I was woundering what that would do to my rpm range while cruising at highway speed Thanks

i seem to recall 4.10's with 35's will put you close to stock on the rpm's...

Might be easier/cheaper to change your tires back to stock size.

You will turn 4.1/3.73 = 9.9.% more RPM at a given MPH with 4.10s than with your 3.73s. Call it 10 percent more. I turn 1500 RPM at 60 MPH, so with the 4.10 gears it'd be 1650 at the same speed. You can get the same effect with 10 percent shorter tires. That'll be my solution, or thereabouts.
