winters in general are slow, but this winter was a direct casualty of the recession. things are starting to pick up for the spring, a little over $3500 to the truck last week.

Nice Petercar!! I used to be a "OO" myself. Drove for over 20 years. I really miss it but don't miss the hassles and i'm now home every night. That part i like! Good luck, and i hope business will pick up for you. I bought my first rig in 1979 just after Jimmy Carter took office and ruined every thing. I saw diesel go from 50 - 60 cents to over $1.25. That was big back then. People think things are bad now, it was worse in 79 and Carter's days.

haha I can remember filling up for $5.09 a gallon in NY when I first started a little less than a year ago. crazy how trucks have changed since then too, my Pete is like driving a Cadillac.

Nice Pete for sure. I drive a similar one only not quite as much gingerbread. It's even black. I usually pull a 40-20 A train although sometimes a 48' or 53' step deck
