I am having a heck of a type finding a type brd bd20/20 let alone a bd15/20 breaker. Any one know were the heck too find circut breakers so I can turn some lights shesh.

If you keep tripping the breakers, then you are overloading the system somewhere, or there is a short.

If you replace the breaker with a bigger capacity, you run the risk of a fire.

You can only run so many things that draw amps in an RV......a hair dryer, for instance, will draw a lot more amps than you think. when running a lot of things at once, the breaker is what saves you from burning the Rv to the ground.

Check the connections in the box. Sometimes a loose connection will cause them to trip frequently.

Yep, they can get weak. However, I would definitely run a current test on that circuit before putting in a larger one. Also, what size is the wiring to that breaker?

I second testing the circut with a clamp-on to see the load the breaker is tripping at. Even then, I wouldn't recommend using a 20 amp breaker on wiring meant to be protected by a 15. Too many chances for bad outcome. Try yellow pages for used electrical equipment, these aren't Home Depot kind of items, but they are available. I added one to BIL trailer to give him another plug outside.

Yes, they do go bad, but 90% of the time that is not the case.

There is usually something else going on, especially in an RV that rumbles down the road......things vibrate loose.

I have seen about a thousand of those mini-twin breakers from about all the makers. I have yet to see more than a few that are really junk.

I have been in and around serveral rvs and campers and have yet to see any of them to use anything that a Murry or "universal fit" style wont work in. Take the breaker to Lowes or Menards or Home depot and match it on the phisical looks rather than brand name.

!5 amp needs 14 gauge wire while a 20 amp needs 12 gauge, for a reason.
