rent enclosed trailer?

I need something bigger than your run of the mill 5x10 u-haul.. preferrably 6x14 or more, up to maybe 20'...

Any ideas?

Need it for a weekend in the spring to haul empty from NC to NJ, and furniture from NJ back to NC.

If you have the money, buy a big trailer and then resell it. Trailers hold their resale value extremely well. The depreciation would probably be relatively close to the rental cost of a U-haul. Or, find a used trailer to buy and then resell which would make your depreciation almost zero.

Well if you want to drive and get it, there are several places to rent them around here. I have the price sheet here and a 7x14' enclosed is 45$/day and same for a 7x16. A 8x20 is $60/day or $360/week. I have rented them a few times and its much eisier and cheaper than buying one. There are several rental places within 30 minutes of me that rent trailers and everything under the sun that you could ever need from wedding decorations to construction equipment to mowers to manure handaling equipment.
