Looking good Ken!! Sorry I did not call last week. I had toooo much going on. This week end isn't any better. I am going to Piedmont Dragstrip for the diesel/NADM races. David/BC847 is going to be there as well as most of all the other guys who were at our dyno day in Durham. I still want to come and see this creation before you get it completed. How did the repair of your truck come out after that boom dropped on it? That made me sick to my stomach when I saw that!! The same feeling I had when I hit that electrical post at a campground in Cullman,Al right after I had my conversion done. Talk to you soon. Let me know if you can go to the races. They are in Julian,Nc. near Burlington/Greensboro this Saturday 10/10/2009. Check out NCDTR#18 all the info on there.

not a problem.. just giving me a shoot when you have free time.

as for Saturday I may come out..

it all depends on if I get trailer inspected Friday.. if I get it inspected then I will be working on getting camper onto trailer and start working on fixing it up.. but if not then I may have some free time.. I will checkout #18 section

Well today was a great day.

Went to DMV officer and he said: Man you did a great job

passed with no issues, so went and got a tag for it.. I am now legal and now this weekend I can load camper and get back to work on that

Very nice job, I have been following the thread but I missed the reason you went to triple axles, and don't you need fenders for those wheels or are you allowed to run open wheels where you are?

with 2 axles there is a chance I would be close to capacity and I did not want that.. so I am gonna run 3 and never have to worry about weight.

as for fenders not required in NC.. but yes I will be adding them later on.. I wanted to get it registered so I can get camper on it and then figure the rest out. I want to have generator and other items on camper also

Nice rig...

In Texas we have to be looking over our shoulder for the PoPo if we use a 20K trailer without a commercial license. I know a couple folks that have been ticketed. Did the DMV mention anything about that for your state?

in NC you can run as many axles as you wish as long as trailer does not weight by itself over 4000lbs and then total weight of load including truck, trailer, etc can not be over 26,000lbs

if you go over either of those you need to get special drivers license and tags
