Price for new axles

I posted this the other day and had a response (that I did not get to read before a certain webmaster decided to upgrade).

Oh well, life goes on. I want to know how bad I got taken for. I just purchased a set of 7000# axles for my 35” trailer.
I paid 1321.00 for 3 axles and all hardware needed to mount them. Is this a good price ?

Depends. Are you talking complete axles with hub, brakes, bearings, springs, etc. Or just the actual axles without those parts?

You might check Trailer Wheel & Frame for their prices. They are a Dexter axle dealer here in Houston.

Here is another place to check out, these guys are great to do business with. Check the etrailerpart.com part of their web side. I believe thats where youll find axle prices.

I paid $350ish for 1 7000# axle with brakes, springs and u-bolts. That was a Dexter EZLube.
