That is a beautiful Chappy.. What motor package did that come with? I am assuming being a Villain it came with 2x454s?

Does it have Merc drives or are they TRS?

Correct, 2 454's, not the mags though. I see that most people that repower them go with the magnums, adding an extra 70 HP total (it's 330 per side now).
The mufflers are coming off here soon, it seems that most people switch over to some sort of silent choice, this one will be straight through. It's sounds "okay" now, but not near as loud as the guys who are running though above the swim platform. Where we were at over the weekend there was a guy with a sinlge 496, I about had to change my shorts when he fired it up without any warning. Bigger and louder is the name of the game. When all conversations at the restaurant you are docking at come to a total halt until you shut it down, you have done your job in my opinion.

I just bought a 65 Chris Craft Mahogany wood boat with a factory 327 in it... It is straight piped from the factory and I LOVE the way they sound...
I am refurbishing it right now and hope to have it in the water before summer is over.... These boats are awesome!
It should look a lot like this when I am done....

Check out my NEXT new boat (just as soon as it's not half the value of my HOUSE).
This thing is WICKED. The economy is amazing. Plus, LOOK AT THE SURFACE DRIVES!!!!

Yeah, surface drives are legit. I met Howard Arneson, the guy who came up with these beauties at a boat show years back. He had his turbine powered cat there and it was sweet . The thing goes about 145, that would be an awesome ride.

Great Selection of Boats!

I've got two, one for fishing and one for skiing.

The price they are asking for that is VERY reasonable for what it is. Black Thunders are pretty heavy, and that is a 43' footer.. It will probably run close to 90mph with those surface piercers though. SWEEEEET!

Probably gets a lot better mileage than my boat too!
