You need to go through the entire water system.

Potable tank need a good flush and entire system must be sanitized. The heater tank must be flushed and flushed and flushed.

On the dirty side make sure the holding tank valves function. Fill the grey & black water tanks to 3/4 level and add a strong dose of chemical. Let them sit for a couple weeks.

If you can find a RV repair facility that doesn't sell RV's. They are usually very helpful with getting your RV up and going.

Thanks for the advise guys. So far we've tested the city water hookup and the water heater. I'm impressed, it seems to heat the water all the way up the lines instead of just what's in the tank (that can be turned down). Haven't tested the holding tanks or pump.
The carpet is gone, going to find some today along with a list of other things to fix/replace.
Going to put the new jacks on tomorrow or Saturday.
