New 53' Trailer
do a google search for National seat company. I buy just the base and set my OEM seat on them---cost about 400.00 with compressor
I chose this site because it is your state, but as you will see it is a standard nation wide.

A "CDL" is a Commercial Drivers License. It meets certain "standards" that are the same for every state. It differs from your Oklahoma "operator's" or "chauffeur's" licenses. It is required if you drive certain kinds of commercial vehicles either within Oklahoma or outside of Oklahoma.
WHAT IS THE COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY ACT OF 1986 (CMVSA/86)?
It is a law passed by the United States Congress which requires ALL the individual states to comply with certain standards in regards to the licensing of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers. Oklahoma driver licensing standards comply with the law, requiring CMV drivers to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) when driving applicable vehicles. A CDL license can ONLY be issued in the driver's STATE OF LEGAL RESIDENCE, and if you have a CDL, you can have NO OTHER DRIVER'S LICENSE in ANY other state.
WHEN DO I NEED A CDL INSTEAD OF MY REGULAR OKLAHOMA DRIVERS LICENSE?
A CDL is required if you operate any of the following CMV's . . .
A vehicle with a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 26,000 lbs.
A vehicle towing a unit with a manufacturer's GVWR of more than 10,000 lbs. when the GCWR exceeds 26,000 lbs.
After taling to a number of people I was convinced that if for no other reason than for resale value, i would be better advised to get 6000# triple axles instead of the 5200's.
was only a 600 dollar option and it put me into not only heaveir axles but larger tires and alumunum wheels.
Now looking for a shorter (22 -28 foot ) closed cargo for my smaller loads

Still don't have a photo-trailer is being built by this company
http://www.americanhauler.com/Race_T...hawk/index.php
they have photos of the same trail at this link but it is a little shorty 48'
I have been pulling a 48' flatbed for a couple years --the new 2006 takes it down the road better than any truck i have had prior to this one.
i googled some Calif trailer dealers and found 53' trailers being sold there ?
To ticket me they would have to show a regulation number that I had violated. It is my opinion that if the truck is stopped and not running I can spend my off duty hours anywhere I want. I'd be very grateful if you could provide a regulation number that states I must show a motel receipt if I don't have a regulation sleeper, or something that states I must sleep in a bed, or even that I must sleep while off duty. The way I read the reg a driver could spend his whole 10 hours gambling then get back behind the wheel and be on duty for 14 more hours. Thanks.
And it is legal. They cite you on their judgement that you are in violation, you sign a note of promase to appear. You then wait around a few days and go to court. yeah I know, you send the money and go home. But ya see, they count on that.

Should I have the opportunity to foreward some business your way I'll gladly oblige.
