Towing Break In?
My new 03 2500 HO 48re has been shipped and should arrive this week. Here my problem. I leave for Daytona next Thurs, How many miles should I put on before pulling a 26ft trailer?

;D Congratulations! ;D<br><br>It's generally agreed it's best to put about 500 miles on the truck before towing.<br><br>If you can't do that, just take it easy, keep the speed down (below 65 MPH), and keep 'er out of overdrive on significant inclines.<br><br>Let us know how she tows, eh?<br><br>Best to y'all<br>Bill

Hauling a trailer with a bike shouldn't be a problem...I have put many big rigs into service and they start out by hooking to a trailer and running like normal... just watch your fluids and gauges and don't lug the engine...by babying the engine you only prolong the break-in period
