Trailer lock

I have an 18' car hauler with a hammer blow-bulldog hitch. I have a lock for it for when it is sitting in storage. What I'm looking for is a lock for when it is hooked to my truck. I have tried the long skinny locks that come in the set to lock the receiver. But it is too short. I need a lock that would replace the pin behind the slide.
This is what I have.

I have never seen a lock pin that long. I'm thinking you'd have to either change the hitch to a different type, probably desirable, or see if you can drill a hole at the bottom of the hick sheet metal, just behind the collar, in locked position, that you could put a lock into. I can't tell from the picture of the metal wraps all the way around the bottom , juts behind the collar, so I'm not sure if that would work. Another custom possibility, would be to drill right beside the release lever, or even through it and the hitch sheet metal, so you could use the small receiver pin there. It sure looks like it opens up there, and would be readily accessible from the bottom to put the pin through at the release lever.

I have the same type of hitch on my stock trailer and am also interested in finding a lock.

I thought about paddle locking the breakaway chains to the truck, but a simple bolt cutter would defeat that.

Any other ideas?

You will probably need to go with wheel locks. We sell tons of locks, but never have seen one yet that fits on the Bulldog when connected to the truck.

Could you get a lock into the pin so that the pin cannot be removed?

What about this one? Says it does 3 3/8" span. How long a pin do you need?

I am using the "Trailer Coupler Lock - Deadbolt Style for Surge Brake with 3-3/8" Span" on my trailer and it works great
