Looking for Trailer Wheel/Tire Combo

I am going to change the structure on my 36' gooseneck flatbed. It's built as a lowboy type trailer right now with side rails. It is 4 inches to wide to be legal to get plates for it. Right now I have run it all over then country with the ag triangle on it and had no problems, but my lucks coming due. So I need to pull the wheels under it and make a deck-over out of it. Right now my problem is I can't find the tires I want. I am looking for some low profile or as small a diameter tire as I can get with at least 3100 pound load rating. I need 8 lug rims for 7000 pound axles.

Take a look at Cooper C120's

I tow a 5th wheel at about 12,000 lbs . I changed out the stock 6 bolt 15 inch rims and put on 16 inchers w/ Cooper c120's . I wont call them low profile at 32 inches tall but they are rated at 3400 lbs each .

Goodyear G-614-16" are just a tad over 30" and are rated for 3750. 19.5 wheels are not available unless custom made. A 225/70-19.5 is about 32 inches and 4000 pounds or more with very short sidewalls. You can buy 17.5 wheels for the axles and that would be the smallest tire with the highest rating. Wheels are about $90 each, tires about $200. But any heavy tire will run $200 or more. Dexter 10,000 pound axles run the 17.5 wheel with the same hub bolt pattern. Most trailer companies are switching from three 16 inch axles to two 10,000 pound axles.

How wide is your trailer? You can run 102 plus 6" of hanging out apparatus (winches, etc) Every trailer that I have used for car hauling is 102 wide.

I am looking for custom 19.5 wheels as I can get them used a dime a dozen, while I have to pay $230 for 614's. Since January 2, I have had two flats on the trailer, one costing the loss of a new tire. If possible I only use used tires on the trailer as the front axle will pick up bolts and nails constantly. Most vans and ambulances run 19.5 and they can be purchased for $10.00 each with plenty of tred on them. They hold more weight and have stiffer sidewalls with more pressure, generally 115 and are narrower for better fuel economy.

The measurement at the furthest distance is outside wheel to wheel and it's 106". The trailer was custom made to fit a Back-hoe on the bed in between the wheels so that the whole tractor sits on the lowboy deck. Be a great trailer for just a straight up farmer but I need to do alot of other things with it. Gave selling it a half baked try, that would probably be the better thing to do but I hate dealing with people when your selling stuff.
