having that contraption hanging off the back of your truck would be the first and most obvious give away to DOT that you are 2 things.

1. Overloaded

2. Retarded

Might as well be a red sign saying "pull me over".

Now are you overladed I mean. Trucks not saging ha ha.

I don't know where I stand on the subject. I think most points made here are mute. Its not a solid bar on the ground. So you should have your full spring travel. If this dolly is designed right. I think that as long as you have the stopping power under control go for it. You guys are knocking it but trailer manufacturers build them too. semi trucks have tags all the time. Pretty much just installing a tandem axle in 5 seconds ha ha. And from what I see it only takes a few hundred pounds off.

I don't give a dang about what other people think, but putting one of these contraptions on your vehicle is like advertising stupidity.

Oh why, oh why, oh why did I put firestone RideRites on my truck when I could have paid 4 times as much and bought the Stinger Hitch helper?

Hmmm... I wonder how well it works in the snow?

Time for a dually if you need or want one of these.

I prefer to cruise at 60 in the right lane. If I'm going too slow or holding you up just flash the lights and I'll pull over if it is safe and let you pass.....I may honk and wave as I pass you at the gass station if you have DCTD, anything else and it will be a bird salute.

Would that not put reverse tounge weight on your hitch MUCH greater than its 500 lbs tounge weight limit.

DOT would have you in handcuffs and tow your rig if you used it.
