I don't know where to buy it online but you might try ebay. I've only installed one and it took almost 6 hours. The next one would go quicker, dealer told me they would likely charge me 4.5 hours labor to install.

Well I ordered mine from Mechanicsville Dodge (3 years ago). They were the cheapest at the time...if I remember it was $650 + $25 shipping. Probably going to be more for your 3rd Gen.
Here's their # 804-559-4400
The install took me 4 or 5 hours. It was fairly easy & straightforward. With the location of your turbo being different than mine, it may be easier or more difficult......don't know, I've never tinkered on a 3rd gen.
Clicky....

Which one are you thinking about ? Jake brake, Pac Brake, etc ? I just had the Pac Brake PRXB installed - about 3 hrs - went right behind the turbo - it is air operated, so had to have compressor & tank installed, and switch. Works great. Pictures on my gallery. It was expensive ($1200 for the unit), but has great mid-range function...oh and a way-cool sound !

I have checked ebay and most Jacobs are around $1200. I was avoiding the pac brake as I did not want to have to add an air compressor and also like that the Jacobs brand is Cummins and Dodge approved. I have heard some good things about the BD, and I believe it is by far the cheapest but once again the warranty issue is there. I will definetly call that dealer as that price is by far the best I have seen. I don't know how much different the 3rd gen will be though.

I just bought mine today off ebay. A jacobs brake. I was going to get a pac brake but the price was almost half. I paid 688 for a new jacobs brake. Do an ebay search for exhaust brake.

Why are these two "kits" so different?

Mopar part numbers are the same. I was curious myself. Maybe someone has a really good hookup with these. I bought one.

I think that the warrenty on the Jacobs is only if it is installed by an authorized Dodge or Cummins dealer. Also I have read that the Jacobs is vacuum pump driven and that the pump is always on weather you are using the exhaust brake or not and that early pump failures have occured (expensive to replace). Alot of guys seem to be more inclined to go with the PacBrake. Just my .02.

id say that is the only thing that you have to worry about is the slight hiss when the pump is active
but it is not on all the time there is an electric switch (which i have mounted on the gear shift) and you can hear the pump kick in . sometimes a slight squeek as the belt slips a little
I also leave mine on all the time and no problems
