I need a lot of help here does anyboby remember the little slide in unit for the pick up that had 2 bench's and a table in it and you could take the the table down and it would make a bed in the truck I need help I am looking for one or plain's on how to make one. I dont know what tehy called them but I remember see them.

camperettes. that is what they were called, if you cannot find any plans to build one, PM me, and I will take some pics of the one I have out in the yard. they are really pretty basic to build.

Company called Glasstite used to make one. Used a door instead of your tailgate. Expensive but very nice, don't know if their are still available. Think A.R.E. ? makes something like that also. Hope it helps.

And the camperettes are something like it but that not it lets say if you got a leer cap on it already this thing slide in it and it has to bench one on each side and it has a table that goes down and make it in to a bed the bench are about 6 feet long

Yes DMH that is the best I seen of so far it is all most like it it had a table with a pole and you took the pole out and it made a bed and inside the cap the bed went from the front of the truck to the end of the wheel wells at the back on both side like in the picture on the right side Thank You For Finding that for me If I have to that could work out for me THANK YOU AGAIN
I had a "Sixpack" camper years ago that was cab height, just like a shell but had the dinette up front that made a bed like you are looking for, it had a refer on one side of the rear door and a closet on the other side. I forget what company made them but I think it was a Calif. company.
