camperettes. that is what they were called, if you cannot find any plans to build one, PM me, and I will take some pics of the one I have out in the yard. they are really pretty basic to build.

Good Luck

Company called Glasstite used to make one. Used a door instead of your tailgate. Expensive but very nice, don't know if their are still available. Think A.R.E. ? makes something like that also. Hope it helps.

Look here:
http://www.cargobody.com/camper.htm

There is a floor plan at the bottom that might give you some ideas to build something under a hightop cap.

I would also be interested if anyone knows anything. I assume TopGun is talking about something simple. Just a tabel that folds down into a bed.

I don't remember a table, but there used to be a Bed Rug set that had a full carpet bed & a fold out couch that became a bed.

Yes DMH that is the best I seen of so far it is all most like it it had a table with a pole and you took the pole out and it made a bed and inside the cap the bed went from the front of the truck to the end of the wheel wells at the back on both side like in the picture on the right side Thank You For Finding that for me If I have to that could work out for me THANK YOU AGAIN

I had a "Sixpack" camper years ago that was cab height, just like a shell but had the dinette up front that made a bed like you are looking for, it had a refer on one side of the rear door and a closet on the other side. I forget what company made them but I think it was a Calif. company.
