Hub-o-meter?

Is there a way to hook up a odometer to my trailer axles -- regular 7k torsion axles w/electric brakes #42 spindle I think. Yes I could keep track of the miles every time I move it based on my truck odo but would like to not think about it... of course depending on how much it costs.

Don't worry about finding a Veeder-Root Hub-o-meter that will fit your specific application; as they are next to impossible to find.

Instead, get one that is for the diameter of tire that you have; and, design a simple bracket that catches two opposing wheel-studs to mount the meter on.

If the studs are long enough, the regular nuts can go on, with the meter bracket going on last, with it's own flat nuts.

Large truck service centers should have a Veeder-Root catalog that will list them by tire diameter.
